Well respected, busy, 5 attorney, boutique litigation firm in Mission Valley is looking for an experienced civil litigation associate to assume immediate, significant responsibility for large and diverse caseload.
Successful candidate will be an extraordinary writer, possess excellent interpersonal skills with colleagues, staff, clients, etc., have 5 years of relevant civil litigation experience including drafting pleadings; developing and implementing discovery plans; taking and defending depositions of parties, percipient witnesses, and experts; successful track record in bringing, opposing, and arguing dispositive motions; attending mediations and Mandatory Settlement Conferences; and first chair responsibility in state or federal bench / jury trials, administrative hearings, or binding arbitrations.

Firm has been in business for over thirty years, and in its present offices in San Diego for over twenty-five years. Satellite office in Palm Springs and large practice in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.
Practice is virtually all civil and administrative with nearly all cases pending in California or federal courts or administrative agencies in Southern California. Approximately 50% of practice is related to employment and discrimination, 20% is real estate litigation, 15-20% is small business litigation, and remaining 10-15% is family law, personal injury and general civil litigation.
Salary commensurate with experience, and does not include monthly bonuses and quarterly bonuses for referrals. Medical insurance, CLE classes and Bar Dues paid by the firm. Generous vacation / PTO package. 401(k) plan with partial matching. Plenty of free parking
