Civil Science is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Construction Lead Inspector / EIT for our transportation construction projects based out of either Dickinson or Williston, North Dakota. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in civil / construction engineering, hold an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification, and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and technical expertise. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to manage a number of exciting projects and contribute to the growth and success of our firm.
Responsibilities of a Construction Lead Inspector / EIT :
- Lead and manage civil construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and schedule.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure project requirements are met and all necessary permits are obtained.
- Oversee project scheduling, resource allocation, and subcontractor management to ensure efficient project execution.
- Conduct site inspections, quality control, and quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review technical documents, reports, and construction drawings.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
- Foster a culture of safety and promote best practices in construction site management.
