Summary of Position

As an Asset Development Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our asset development efforts. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data, tracking pre-spud milestones, and maintaining records that are vital to the planning, management, and optimization of capital budgets. 

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain cross-functional pre-spud development milestones in Quorum Execute while broadly fostering asset awareness of system adherence.
  • Support analysis of competitor benchmarking by flagging trends and summarizing key comparative elements using Enverus (et al).      
  • Create reports summarizing compliance with necessary development lead times in both Delaware and Midland Basins. 
  • Conduct monthly reviews with the Land team to update expected WI/NRIs.
  • Support non-operated project tracking efforts.
  • Create and route new well AFEs through collaboration with development, construction, drilling, completions, facilities, and production teams. Help to QC costs on a high level while monitoring differences between modeled costs, AFE costs, and actual costs.
  • Follow safe operating practices and ensure compliance with CIVI Environment, Safety & Regulatory requirements.
  • Assure work performed adheres to CIVI standards.
  • Assist other teams within the Asset Development organization as required.

 Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication required.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills are a must. 
  • Ability to thrive in both an independent and collaborative work environment and have exceptional skills in managing multiple demands, including prioritizing deadlines. 
  • Motivated self-starter that takes initiative and solves problems. 
  • Ability to professionally collaborate with other departments.
  • Proficiency with Aucerna Execute application. 
  • Microsoft 360 products (Outlook, Excel, Word). 
  • Experience with Data Visualization Software, such as Power BI or Spotfire preferred.

 Education & Experience:

  • Associates or technical degree and minimum of 10 years of experience in oil and gas or related industries. 
  • 6 years’ experience in related disciplines required.
  • Familiarity with all oil & gas operations required.

Travel Requirements:

  • Work is performed at a CIVI location Tues-Thurs with an option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
  • Schedule: traditional 40-hour workweek or alternative schedule of 9 hour works days M-Thurs and 4-hour workdays Friday.
  • Travel required to the Civitas field and regional office locations.

Base Pay Range: $100,000 - $115,000
