Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Responsibilities:
- Perform account reconciliation and account analysis to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Maintain knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements for audits
- Provide support to the accounting team as needed
Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Quickbooks, Excel, Word
- Experience in Construction and Job Cost software a plus
- Experience with Self Storage accounting software a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of budgeting processes
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or related role
