Pipeline Project Coordinator โ Water Department Job Summary:
C.J. Hughes Construction Co., Inc. is looking for a motivated Pipeline Project Coordinator to support our Water Department projects. No prior experience is required, but candidates must be eager to learn, proficient with computers, and comfortable working with numbers and tracking data. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in project coordination within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist project managers with administrative tasks and project tracking.
- Input and manage data related to project costs, scheduling, and job progress.
- Use Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project to maintain reports and documentation.
- Track and organize invoices, project expenses, and other accounting-related data.
- Coordinate with field teams and vendors to ensure smooth project operations.
- Conduct job site visits to understand project needs and provide support.
- Utilize software tools such as Foundation and GoCanvas for project documentation.
- Communicate updates to management and project teams.
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project.
- Basic knowledge of numbers, data entry, and accounting principles.
Organizational Skills:
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Problem-Solving:
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve project challenges.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
Communication:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with teams and stakeholders.
- Must have a valid driverโs license.
- Must have a clean background and be able to pass a drug test.
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute to job sites as needed.
- Willingness to travel for job-related duties.
- Ability to work on-site and in an office environment as required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and other software.
