Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive Payroll and Human Resources Associate to assist the Finance and Human Resources Departments with various payroll and human resource functions including, but not limited to employee onboarding, recruitment, employee engagement, time sheet entry, documentation management, and other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the weekly payroll process by accurately entering daily logs and ensuring hours, deductions, and benefits are accurately calculated
- Assisting with the onboarding process including new hire orientation, documentation management/completion, and system data entry
- Maintaining driver qualification files per the FMCSA
- Maintaining and managing employment records for active and terminated employees
- Daily entry and tracking of call offs
- Support recruitment efforts by contacting candidates, conducting interviews, and managing job postings across various platforms
- Other administrative duties as assigned to assist the Finance and HR departments
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree preferred but not required
- Prior experience in HR and/or payroll related role
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
