Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Buff and polish floors to maintain a clean and professional appearance.
- Conduct custodial duties in commercial settings, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep.
- Carry out industrial cleaning procedures in designated areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces.
- Execute porter duties by transporting materials or equipment as required within the facility.
- Ensure proper disposal of waste materials in accordance with environmental regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and polishing is a plus.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is beneficial for maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Excellent time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $10.00 - $11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week
