CJK Group is seeking a strategic and results-driven Corporate Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement operations across our national network of print facilities. This leadership role reports to the Senior Vice President of Global Strategic Sourcing and is responsible for driving cost savings, managing vendor relationships, and implementing sourcing strategies that support business objectives.
This individual will play a critical role in securing materials, particularly paper, that are essential to our print manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate brings strong negotiation skills, deep industry knowledge, and the ability to lead multi-site procurement initiatives with precision and professionalism.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts that benefit multiple locations
- Monitor market trends and source cost-effective materials
- Implement sourcing strategies that reduce costs, streamline inventory, and improve processes
- Analyze and compare procurement models and pricing scenarios
- Lead procurement initiatives, training programs, and cross-functional collaboration projects
- Travel to sites (up to 25%) to build relationships and share best practices
What You’ll Bring:
- A minimum of 5 years of purchasing or supply chain experience, including at least 3 years specifically focused on materials procurement within the print manufacturing industry, with an emphasis on paper sourcing.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, analytical, and project management abilities
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and passion for continuous improvement
- Ability to work onsite at one of the listed CJK Group print facilities. Final location will align with candidate proximity and business needs.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field
- Ongoing interest in developing expertise in printing materials and paper markets
