What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resource Generalist position at CJR Renewables?
The HR Generalist drives optimal business and employee outcomes by prioritizing, developing, and executing HR programs and processes. Reporting to the NORAM Human Capital Director, this role will work closely with the NORAM leadership team. This role will include, but not be limited to, recruitment, compensation, benefits administration, payroll, compliance, facilities, onboarding, employee relations, and policy development in accordance with the company’s international talent management policies and CJR Renewables’ goals, culture and values.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that NORAM HR processes and standards are in line with US HR policies and strategy
- Build and maintain effective working relations with management and employees
- Partner with the business unit leaders to build high-performing teams through organization design, recruiting, onboarding, and employee development
- Support the talent acquisition processes and activities, like onboarding and integration, performance and talent management, development, mobility, engagement and retention, rewards, in alignment with corporate policies and tools
- Report and maintain detailed knowledge of headcount metrics and costs, including budgeted positions, hiring and attrition
- Audit and implement the correct application of US labor law standards and payroll processes; partner and coach leadership team on topics related to US labor law and standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement and development of people acquisition, development, and retention policies in the assigned market
- Work with Compliance to ensure compliance with ongoing programs
- Adopt behavior and attitude that aligns with CJR Renewables’ organizational values to achieve the company's mission and vision
- Comply with and promote the company requirements established in CJR Renewables’ Integrated Management System (LMS), Quality and Health and Safety procedures, and work procedures

Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, HR, Management, Social Sciences, Psychology or similar
- 3 years' of experience working in Human Resources
- Knowledge of National and State Labor law
- Microsoft Office Experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
