Machine Operator/Assembler

Position Description:

• Manufacturing position with responsibilities focused upon completion of production in a timely and efficient manner meeting all customer quality standards.

Position Responsibilities:

Come to work on time every day as scheduled.

Work safely and maintain a clean efficient work area.

Accurately report and record production counts

Follow work instructions/standard work processes.

Treat others with dignity, follow company code of conduct.

Learn and understand the quality standards and produce good products.

Pack product and label correctly using work instructions.

Learn and understand the operator instructions for all jobs in the facility.

Be able to move effectively from one job to another throughout the course of the shift.

Participate in CES events as needed.

All other duties as assigned by supervision.

Educational/Other Requirements:

• Must pass Core Operator Assessment
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

Language Skills Requirements:

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and system documentation.
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of associates.

Mathematical Skills Requirements:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Ability to calculate percentage and proportions.

Reasoning Ability Requirements:

• Ability to actively participate in problem solving activities.
• Ability to apply logic to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

Physical Requirements:

• Moderate physical movement and exertion.
• Lifting up to 40 lbs. at a time.
