Position Summary
The Manager of Peer-Based Treatment Services is responsible for the oversight of a multi-disciplinary team of counselors and peer mentors, ensuring seamless delivery of peer-based treatment services at CKF Addiction Treatment. This position will also collaborate closely with leaders in community outreach and outpatient treatment services to achieve program goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Tracking and follow up on productivity metrics to ensure patient facing hours are being met.
- Manages a multi-disciplinary treatment team responsible for patients and care in peer-based treatment services.
- Provides assistance and support to family members dealing with and providing support for patients as needed.
- Participates in utilization review activities as required.
- Assist patients/family members in crisis as needed.
- Maintains contact with referral sources as needed.
- Ensure patient’s files are in a site visit ready manner, always.
- Refers patient to other support services as needed such as medical evaluation and treatment, social services, and employment services.
- Monitoring patient outcomes and driving continuous quality improvement.
- Maintain program compliance with state and regulatory standards.
- Collaboration with other leaders within the agency on harm reduction initiatives and education, stigma, and community engagement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervises all Level 1 treatment peers and Counselor of Peer Based Treatment Services.

Education and Experience
High School Diploma; Kansas Certified Peer Mentor with 5 or more years as a KCPM; Experience with requirements and continuing education for Peer Mentors in the state of Kansas.
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations
- Current valid Kansas Driver’s License.
- Certified by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services as a KCPM.
