Responsibilities:
- Trouble shoot and repair molds
- Disassemble, clean, and assemble extrusion blow molds
- Bench work, hand grinding, matching, and polishing
- Laser and tig welding
- Use of manual mills, lathes, drill press, surface grinder, etc
- Ensure molds are cleaned, deburred, and that all bolts are tightened properly during assembly of the mold
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with hand tools such as Allen wrenches, hammers and screwdrivers
- Thoroughness and attention to detail
- Mechanically inclined with an understanding of math
- Ability to use all precision measuring devices
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
