Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Pipe Fitter to join our Millwright division. This role involves advanced layout, fabrication, installation, and maintenance of complex piping systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial and commercial pipe fitting, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team on high-precision projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and analyze complex blueprints, isometric drawings, and project specifications to determine pipe layout and fitting requirements.

Precisely measure, cut, thread, groove, and bend pipes to required angles using industry-standard techniques and tools.

Install and secure pipes, valves, and fittings with various fastening methods, including welding, bolting, and threading.

Collaborate with welders to ensure proper assembly and welding of piping systems.

Conduct pressure tests and inspections to verify system integrity and compliance with industry standards.

Troubleshoot and repair piping system issues, ensuring optimal functionality.

Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols, company policies, and relevant industry codes.

Operate and maintain specialized tools and equipment, including pipe benders, torches, grinders, and cutting tools.
Qualifications:

5 years of experience in industrial or commercial pipe fitting.

Extensive knowledge of piping systems, materials, and installation techniques.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and schematics.

Strong understanding of B31.1 Pipe Fitting Codes and other relevant industry standards.

Certifications in pipe fitting or related trade preferred.

Experience working with high-pressure and specialty piping systems is a plus.
