What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Programmer position at Claborn Manufacturing?
Primary Responsibilities:
Utilize CAD/CAM software to create nesting layouts for 2D laser/punch machines.
Utilize CAD/CAM software to create bending programs for press brakes.
Conduct assigned work practices with safety and quality focus
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
Be a team player, work with others to solve problems, and improve the process
Be an effective communicator with peers, management, and external stakeholders
Must be or become familiar with AutoCAD and SolidWorks
Familiar with basic robotics and the motions of a robot
Routinely able to interpret engineering drawings
Demonstrate proficiency with Windows and the Windows file structure
Collaborate with engineers/designers to ensure manufacturability and quality of parts.
Troubleshoot programming and machine operation issues to ensure smooth production flow.
Continuously improve programming techniques and processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications/Requirements:
High school diploma/GED
Must be or become familiar with a press brake, its fundamental operation, bend dimensions, etc.
Become familiar with Trumpf software “Trutops classic/boost”
Ability to work flexible shifts
US citizenship and permanent resident
