Overnight Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) – Cladda Veterinary Emergency Team

Responsibilities

As an Overnight LVT at Cladda, you will:

• Provide exceptional nursing care to hospitalized and emergency patients.
• Triage incoming patients and assist with stabilization.
• Monitor anesthetized patients and assist in surgical procedures.
• Perform diagnostic procedures, including radiographs, bloodwork, and cytology.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as endoscopy, CT, and ultrasound for diagnostics and procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with clients.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
• Assist in training new team members and ensuring adherence to hospital protocols.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) certification in Virginia (or eligible for licensure).
• Previous experience in emergency or specialty veterinary medicine preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong technical skills, including venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, and radiology.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for learning, growth, and delivering outstanding care.
