Job Overview:
As the Store Manager of Claibornes Closet, you will oversee the daily operations of the store, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and driving sales. Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Team Management
- Hire, train, and develop as needed.
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to team members.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment with a focus on collaboration and productivity.
- Schedule staff to ensure optimal coverage during peak and off-peak hours.
2. Sales & Customer Service
- Drive sales through excellent customer service, product knowledge, and effective selling techniques.
- Implement strategies to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
- Oversee customer service issues, ensuring timely resolution of customer complaints or concerns.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize profitability.
3. Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment that reflects the brand’s image.
- Oversee the execution of visual merchandising plans, ensuring product displays are attractive and aligned with seasonal promotions.
- Ensure that store inventory is properly displayed and replenished on the sales floor.
4. Inventory Management & Stock Control
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring timely stock replenishment and efficient stock rotation.
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist with inventory control to minimize stock discrepancies.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to reduce shrinkage and ensure merchandise security.
5. Administrative & Operational Duties
- Oversee daily opening and closing procedures for the store.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
- Prepare and submit sales reports, payroll, and other administrative documentation in a timely manner.
- Manage store budgets, expenses, and financial reporting to achieve profitability.
6. Marketing & Promotions
- Collaborate with marketing team to implement store-specific promotions, events, and seasonal campaigns.
- Participate in local community events or activities to promote the brand and increase store visibility.
- Use social media platforms to engage customers, showcase new arrivals, and increase brand awareness.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in retail management, ideally in a women’s fashion or clothing store.
