- Develop and implement menus that meet residents' dietary needs and preferences
- Monitor and maintain inventory of food and supplies, following budget guidelines
- Train, schedule, and supervise dining service staff to ensure efficient and professional service
- Maintain clean and sanitary dining areas, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Work closely with the Activities Director to plan and coordinate special events and themed meals
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to address any concerns or suggestions
- Continuously seek ways to improve and enhance the dining experience for residents
- Monitor and track resident satisfaction and address any issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations pertaining to food service and sanitation
- Minimum of 3-5 years of management experience in a food service setting, preferably in a senior living or healthcare environment
- Proven track record of excellent customer service and effective team leadership
- Knowledge of nutritional guidelines for seniors and special dietary needs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain within first 90 days of employment
