Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for various landscapes. This role requires a strong understanding of landscape maintenance and the ability to work with both hand and power tools. The Irrigation Technician will play a crucial role in enhancing the health and aesthetics of gardens and lawns.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or areas for improvement.
- Repair or replace damaged components such as pipes, valves, and sprinkler heads.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to coordinate irrigation schedules based on plant needs.
- Dig trenches for pipe installation, ensuring minimal disruption to existing landscapes.
- Provide recommendations for system upgrades or enhancements to improve water conservation.
Skills
- Proficient in landscape maintenance practices, including lawn care techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems and equipment.
- Experience in using hand tools and power tools relevant to irrigation installation and repair.
- Ability to dig trenches accurately while maintaining the integrity of surrounding landscapes.
- Familiarity with various irrigation methods, including drip systems and sprinkler systems.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.08 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
