Overview: The Paraplanner will be based at our Horsham, PA office, providing critical support to our Financial Advisers. This non-client-facing role involves preparing comprehensive financial planning reports, conducting technical research, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and internal policies. The Paraplanner will collaborate closely with the advisory team to deliver high-quality, efficient, and risk-mitigated services for a range of financial advice scenarios.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed financial planning reports using provided templates for various advice types.
  • Conduct in-depth technical research to support Financial Advisers, ensuring the information is accurate and compliant.
  • Ensure all relevant compliance, business, and provider documents are complete and properly stored in the back-office system.
  • Maintain awareness of legislative and compliance obligations, ensuring all tasks align with company policies and procedures.
  • Review client data, including paystubs, insurance details, investment holdings, and other relevant financial documents, to support accurate analysis, hypothetical scenarios, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Financial Advisers to understand client objectives and identify missing information necessary for report preparation.
  • Efficiently manage multiple tasks, supporting the Financial Advisers in achieving quality control of client deliverables.
  • Contribute to team meetings and foster effective communication within the team.
  • Accurately document key discussions, decisions, and action items during meetings, ensuring timely and effective implementation of client recommendations and internal processes.

Education, Qualifications & Training:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation required.
  • Prior experience in financial services, specifically in preparing financial planning reports and conducting technical research, is essential. Training will be provided.

  • Solid understanding of various financial planning processes and methodologies.
  • Ability to work within defined business processes and meet agreed-upon outcomes independently.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent report writing capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and financial planning software such as Wealthvision (eMoney). Training will be provided.

Compensation:

  • Annual Salary pay range: $65,000 to $80,000/ year
  • Performance bonus awarded on annual basis
