REPORTS TO :
Site Coordinator, 21st Century Community Learning Centers SPARKS / Ignite
WORK DAYS :
Monday – Thursday, up to 16 hours per week after school, consistent with school calendars
SALARY : per hour
STARTING DATE : As soon as possible
JOB OBJECTIVE :
The Esports Coach will provide quality coaching experiences for afterschool students and familiar with Nintendo Switch games and services. The Esports Coach will also use paid planning time to design and plan teambuilding exercise, practicing strategies and game play to promote student competition skills. The Esports Coach will also inventory current Esports materials, maintain equipment, and communicate gaming program needs to Esports Coordinators.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :
- Enthusiastic with a basic understanding of gaming or other Esports systems.
- Experience in a school setting preferred.
- As a condition of employment candidate must have a physical, TB test and a criminal background check.
