21st Century Community Learning Centers SPARKS
JOB LOCATION :
21st Century Community Learning Centers afterschool sites at Elementary Schools, Middle Schools and High Schools.
REPORTS TO :
21st Century Community Learning Centers SPARKS Director
WORK DAYS :
Monday – Thursday, up to 16 hours per week after school, consistent with school calendars
SALARY :
per hour based on certification
STARTING DATE : As soon as possible
JOB OBJECTIVE :
The Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Coach will travel to Elementary, Middle and High School 21st Century Community Learning Center sites to provide quality hands-on STEM experiences for afterschool students. The STEM Coach will also meet with afterschool staff to help design and plan STEM activities, projects, and events. The STEM Coach will also inventory current STEM materials, maintain equipment, identify additional STEM needs. Mileage will be reimbursed according to Clare-Gladwin RESD guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :
- Skilled in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math).
- Experience in a school setting preferred.
- As a condition of employment candidate must have a physical, TB test and a criminal background check.
