Assist Club guests with arrival and departure, while providing positive guests experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests to the Health Club and ensure they have a safe and enjoyable experience
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Maintain the weight and cardiovascular fitness areas; ensuring equipment is clean, functioning properly, re-racked properly and used according to the guidelines of the facility
- Ensure guest members are aware of all programs and fitness classes available
- Instruct guests in use of equipment and provide basic fitness information
- Maintain attendance records and ensure all guests have registered in the facility
- Assist in promoting the facility and organize special events as required
- Stock locker room with appropriate amenities such as towels and robes.
- Empty carts of soiled linen and trash.
- Clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors.
- Make sure glass doors & mirrors are clean.
- Ensure guests have been given items that will enhance their experience.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
- Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push carts up to 50lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand and move throughout area and continuously perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills. •Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
