We are seeking a Flexographic Press Assistant to join our production team. The Flexographic Press Assistant plays a crucial role in the final stage of the printing process. They are responsible for packaging the printed materials, ensuring that finished products are properly counted, labeled, and prepared for shipment. This role involves ensuring product quality, organizing the finished products, and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 5:00 am – 3:00 pm

Key Responsibilities
- Inspect printed materials for any defects or quality issues before packaging. Ensure all products meet the required quality standards.
- Carefully pack printed materials into boxes, ensuring products are secure and protected during storage or transportation. Properly label packages for shipment.
- Accurately count and sort finished products to ensure correct quantities are packed according to orders or production requirements.
- Move finished materials from the press area to the packaging area, and load finished product onto pallets for shipping.
- Conduct random quality checks on products to ensure that print quality, color, and alignment meet production standards.
- Ensure that products are labeled with the appropriate product codes, batch numbers, and shipping information. Complete any necessary production or packing documentation.
- Keep the packing area clean and organized, ensuring the proper storage of packaging materials and tools.
- Follow safety guidelines and ensure that all packaging processes are carried out with an emphasis on safety and efficiency.
- Help prepare packaging materials, such as boxes, shrink film, or protective materials, as needed.
- The ability to adhere to Clarest’s Code of Conduct, follow Clarest Compliance policies and procedures, and report any suspected violations of any federal or state laws to either their direct supervisor, Human Resources or the Compliance Officer
- Ability to identify defects or errors in printed materials and take corrective action when necessary.
- Comfortable handling and packing materials quickly and efficiently, with an eye for maintaining product quality.
- Ability to stay organized while managing multiple tasks, including sorting, packing, and labeling items.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift boxes or materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Able to work effectively with team members, especially in coordinating with press operators to understand production schedules and packaging needs.
- Ensuring precision in product quality, packaging, and labeling.
- Capability to lift, move, and handle printed materials safely and efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Collaborate effectively with press operators and other team members to ensure smooth workflow.
- Adherence to workplace safety protocols to prevent accidents and maintain a hazard-free environment.
