Clarifi Staffing Solutions is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team!
We are seeking a collaborative educator who can work closely with parents, caregivers, and school staff to develop tailored educational strategies that address each student's unique learning needs. As an LBS1 Specialist, you will create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support students in a self-contained classroom setting.
Responsibilities Overview :
- Foster a positive and structured classroom environment that promotes student engagement and success.
- Adapt and personalize lesson plans to align with diverse learning abilities and goals.
- Implement reinforcement strategies to encourage positive behavior and social development.
- Provide instruction in core academic subjects while integrating essential life and social skills.
- Maintain ongoing communication with parents and caregivers, offering progress updates and setting collaborative goals.
- Continuously assess student progress, document growth, and refine teaching strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
Requirements
Applicants should demonstrate proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or in a comparable role, with specialized knowledge in managing early childhood caseloads. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is a requirement, with preference given to candidates holding a master’s degree. Eligibility for this role mandates an active Michigan Professional Educator License (PEL) with a special education (LSB1) endorsement, as alternative certifications will not be considered.
