What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Assistant position at Clarion Bathware?
Responsibilities to include:
- Talent recruiting and retention.
- Conduct interviews, manage pre-employment processes, and new hire orientations.
- Maintain employee records including new hires, transfers, terminations, job classification changes, and tracking paid time off, etc.
- Perform data entry into spreadsheets and Timeclock system.
- FMLA administration.
- Employee relations.
- Records management.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Administer Safety and Worker's Compensation programs.
- Perform other related HR or administrative duties as required.
- Travel between Marble, Shippenville and Knox will be required.
- Occasional travel to job fairs that might include a Saturday.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in business or related fields will be a positive for this role.
- 2 years of HR or similar business experience is preferred.
- Experience with recruiting at all levels, utilization of online and other recruiting tools and applicant tracking systems.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently, take initiative and see projects through to completion.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Manufacturing experience would be helpful.
- Bi-lingual – Spanish/English would add to this candidate.
