Responsibilities
- Coordinate talent recruiting and retention efforts to attract and maintain top talent.
- Conduct interviews, manage pre-employment processes, and facilitate new hire orientations.
- Maintain and update employee records, including new hires, transfers, terminations, and job classification changes.
- Track and manage paid time off and other employee benefits.
- Perform data entry into spreadsheets and the Timeclock system.
- Administer FMLA and manage employee relations to ensure compliance and support.
- Oversee records management and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Administer Safety and Worker's Compensation programs.
- Perform other related HR or administrative duties as required.
- Travel between Marble, Shippenville, and Knox will be required, with occasional travel to job fairs, including some Saturdays.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in business or related fields is advantageous.
- Preferred 2 years of HR or similar business experience.
- Experience with recruiting at all levels and using online recruiting tools and applicant tracking systems.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Strong multi-tasking, organizational, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Manufacturing experience is beneficial.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish/English is a plus.
