Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Person to join our team at Clarion Inn by Choice Hotels. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance and repair of the hotel facilities, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs.
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS.
- Assist in the fabrication and installation of new equipment as needed.
- Conduct preventive maintenance checks on hotel facilities to avoid downtime.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for repairs or maintenance issues.
- Supervise external contractors during major repairs or renovations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and logic controllers is essential.
- Basic welding skills are a plus but not required.
- Ability to perform residential painting tasks as needed.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
