Job Title: Machine Learning Engineer with RAG & Data Vector Search Expertise
Location: Remote Possible but prefer local to Philadelphia Region
Employment Type: Full-time
About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate engineer with expertise in creating LLM-based systems for search and task automation in the cloud. You will work on cutting-edge technology, developing secure, compliant applications in a fun, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ai agent applications with a focus on automation and RAG
- Build and deploy secure, compliant applications, ensuring adherence to data privacy and security standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2).
- Optimize and maintain cloud-based ML pipelines and solutions, with Azure preferred.
- Develop and integrate RESTful Python APIs for seamless communication between services.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to integrate ML solutions with large-scale databases.
- Fine-tune large language models to improve performance and optimize application outcomes.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of all ML systems in cloud environments.
Key Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (required).
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or Machine Learning (preferred).
- Passionate engineer with a strong drive to learn
- Proven experience in Machine Learning, specifically with AI Agent, RAG and vector search technologies.
- Proficiency in developing and deploying RESTful Python APIs.
- Expertise in cloud hosting (Azure preferred) and cloud-based ML infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of database management and integration including relational and noSQL databases (MongoDB preferred)
- Familiarity with security protocols and building compliant applications, ensuring data encryption and access control.
- Strong sense of user experience design
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with fine-tuning large language models to optimize performance.
- Experience with machine learning, transformers, or other models in a research environment
- Knowledge of additional cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
- Strong programming skills in Javascript/Typescript, C#, or SQL
