What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Technician-Day Shift 7am-3pm and Evenings 3pm-11pm position at Clarity Child Guidance Center?
KNOWLEDGE/EXP: Candidates must possess a HS diploma or GED and have a minimum of 1-3 years working with children, preferably in a psychiatric setting. Some college is desirable.
SUMMARY: Provide for the monitoring and assisting of patients with activities of daily living and provide role modeling behavior. Appropriately support and implement the Center’s Treatment Philosophy of Respect, Dignity, and Understanding when caring for the patient. Must demonstrate initiative, care and attitude conducive to effective functioning for the therapeutic milieu. Expected to learn the basic knowledge and skills for Collaborative Problem Solving.
