We are working closely with a community college to identify a Strategic Learning & Program Development Consultant to lead the transformation of general education courses into dynamic, real-world problem-solving and community engagement platforms. This initiative will be structured around a project-based Innovation & Leadership Lab, integrated with discipline-specific courses to provide students with hands-on experiences that enhance their academic, professional, and personal growth.

Start Date: Mid-April
Duration & Hours: To be determined by a consultant following an interview
Location: Virtual, with availability to work Pacific Time hours.

The pay range for this is $70.00 to $85.00 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.

Key Responsibilities:
As the consultant, you will:
- Collaborate with faculty to establish an initial cohort spanning multiple disciplines.
- Guide the launch of a VR flagship project (developed by an external vendor).
- Facilitate regular alignment meetings to ensure strategic execution.
- Define key benchmarks and success metrics.
- Analyze program data to assess impact and effectiveness.

Experience Required:
- Expertise in developing and implementing strategic initiatives in education.
- Experience working within higher education, particularly in curriculum transformation.
- Ability to align curriculum redesign with institutional goals and industry trends.
- Proven track record of designing and executing interdisciplinary learning strategies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable providing a project estimate after the interview.
