Clarity Partners is seeking an EAM Support Analyst local to Chicago, IL. This position is responsible for maintaining data quality within the clients EAM system, focusing on improving inventory processes and asset management. The role involves analyzing data, troubleshooting issues, and using SQL and Business Intelligence tools to enhance efficiency. Additionally, the EAM Analyst supports day-to-day operations, provides training, and contributes to system improvements by managing user access, creating reports, and maintaining asset data integrity. This position will report in a hybrid setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data for both existing and new reports within the client, maintaining high-quality standards for asset and work order data.
  • Develop and implement strategic improvement plans to enhance inventory processes, identify opportunities for increased efficiency, and ensure accurate asset management.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis and research to identify, diagnose, and resolve any data-related issues, leveraging SQL and Business Intelligence (BI) tools to manipulate and analyze data effectively.
  • Support day-to-day operational activities within the EAM system, including the creation, modification, and deactivation of user accounts and user groups to ensure proper access control.
  • Manage system configuration tasks, such as adding new fields to the EAM system and creating data spies to monitor and enhance data flows.
  • Provide training to DWM and internal EAM users, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to effectively use the system.
  • Create and maintain Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) to assist users with system navigation and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to gather and define requirements for reporting, ensuring that reports meet the needs of the department and support decision-making processes.
  • Develop and manage commodity codes within the system, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational requirements.
  • Oversee contract and price updates within the system to ensure that data reflects the most current and accurate information.
  • Actively participate in system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives, providing valuable insights to optimize EAM processes and overall system functionality.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience working with data analysis, asset management, or EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) systems, preferably in a similar operational environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Business Intelligence (BI) tools to analyze, manipulate, and report on large datasets.
  • Experience in system configuration, user account management, and maintaining data integrity within an EAM system or similar enterprise software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data issues and identify solutions quickly and effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear training and support to internal users of varying technical expertise.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to continuous improvement of processes and systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: 

  • $60,000 - $90,000
