About the Role:
Our client, a tech company is seeking a Temp Part-Time Event Coordinator to support their growing event initiatives. This part-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the planning, coordination, and execution of various events, ranging from trade shows to corporate conferences. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling multiple tasks while maintaining professionalism. Salesforce experience is a must.
Rate: $30/hr - $33/hr
Location: Fully onsite, Hudson Yards area of Manhattan.
Hours: 20-25 hours per week (with potential for 30 hours depending on the week). Ideally, 4 hours a day, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide logistical and operational support for trade shows, conferences, and corporate events.
- Coordinate event details such as venue selection, vendor communication, and overall event logistics.
- Oversee attendee registration and ensure smooth event execution, including guest experience.
- Utilize Salesforce and other CRM systems to manage leads, marketing communications, and post-event follow-ups.
- Analyze event data and provide insights to improve future event planning.
- Prepare event materials, such as signage, brochures, and promotional items for distribution at events.|
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of event planning or coordination experience.
- Experience with Salesforce, especially in creating templates for events.
- Excellent organizational, project management, and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Friendly and professional demeanor, with a strong willingness to learn.
Preferred:
- Experience with trade shows or large-scale corporate events.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools such as Pardot or Cvent, or Mailchimp
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event-related software.
