What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Assistant position at Clarity Recruiting?
Our client is a tech start-up, seeking an Executive Assistant for their CEO. The is an ASAP start, temp ongoing, with potential to go perm down the line position. The ideal candidate will previously supported a CTO or CEO, come out of the start up environment, and be comfortable within Notion or wiki making software.
Fully onsite, 5 days a week in SoHo
$40/hr - $45/hr
10am - 6pm (sometimes 7pm)
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the CEO's Schedule: Coordinate complex calendars and scheduling to ensure optimal time usage.
- Email Triage: Daily management of the CEO's inbox, drafting responses, and flagging critical communications.
- Productivity Systems: Develop and implement systems to improve the CEO’s time management and overall workflow.
- Travel Coordination: Organize travel arrangements, accommodations, and itineraries.
- Proactive Problem-Solving: Anticipate potential issues and provide solutions before they arise.
- Confidentiality & Support: Handle sensitive matters with discretion and confidentiality while maintaining a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Must have experience supporting executives, especially within tech, VC firms, or investment industries (no crypto).
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using productivity tools such as Google Sheets, Notion, Airtable, or similar platforms for organizing and managing tasks.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptionally organized with the ability to handle complex schedules and tasks effectively.
- Proactive & Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate the CEO’s needs and address them before they become problems.
- Emotional Intelligence: High emotional intelligence and the ability to support and guide a strong-willed CEO.
- Background: Experience in executive support, teaching, or coaching is a plus.
Salary : $40 - $45
