As the Logistics Manager for Clark National Accounts, you'll step into a pivotal leadership role, driving the development and execution of streamlined fulfillment workflows and logistics strategies tailored for our expanding roster of multi-unit clients. With our customer base rapidly growing, you'll ensure our team is equipped with the right talent, processes, and systems to deliver exceptional service. Your influence will extend across departments, acting as an ambassador and strategist for stakeholders in Procurement, Programming, Order Optimization, Outbound Transportation, Warehousing, Account Management, Project Services, and Business Development. This role isn't just about leading logistics; it's about shaping our future success and empowering a dynamic team to thrive.

The Project Fulfillment Team you’ll lead is responsible for the seamless execution of our consolidated fulfillment projects. These are typically very large orders available to customers in need of a consolidated order with bespoke fulfillment requisites and a pre-scheduled delivery. They are often either first-time opening packages for new locations or large replenishment orders for existing locations. It’s the Project Fulfillment Consultant’s duty to map out each project’s road map, identify and coordinate with an optimal staging warehouse, facilitate sourcing, allocation, and consolidation of inventory, and ensure smooth shipping and delivery to the customer. This team is also heavily involved in managing distribution center relationships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leadership and Team Management : Lead and manage the Project Fulfillment Team including hiring, mentorship, coaching, and conducting performance reviews. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture focused on achieving departmental and organizational goals. Set clear performance targets and objectives for the team and monitor progress towards KPIs.
  • Development and Implementation of Fulfillment Workflows : Oversee the development and implementation of efficient fulfillment workflows. Ensure processes are scalable and adaptable to accommodate the growing customer base. Continuously review and optimize fulfillment processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution : Develop strategic plans and initiatives to enhance logistic capabilities and meet customer needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Procurement, Programming, Order Optimization, Warehousing, and Project Services) to streamline operations and improve service delivery. Drive initiatives to automate repetitive tasks and enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Performance Monitoring and Continuous Improvement : Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics and fulfillment. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance performance and operational effectiveness. Conduct regular reviews of order logs, quality assurance results, and other metrics to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Professional Development and Team Engagement : Support the professional development of team members through training, mentorship, and career growth opportunities. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and innovation. Promote a culture of continuous learning, feedback, and improvement within the Logistics Team.
  • Communication and Reporting : Communicate effectively with stakeholders, team members, and leadership regarding logistics strategies, initiatives, and performance. Prepare and present reports, analyses, and recommendations to management on logistics operations, KPIs, and performance metrics. Ensure transparency and clarity in communication to facilitate informed decision-making and alignment across the organization.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Act as an advocate, ambassador, and product owner across various departments. Collaborate with stakeholders including Procurement, Programming, Order Optimization, Outbound Transportation, Warehousing, Account Management, Project Services, and Business Development. Drive initiatives to optimize interactions between teams and enhance operational efficiency.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE

  • 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in management, project management and / or logistics
  • Bachelors degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

    This role may work in an office setting and / or telecommute from home. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Occasional activities may involve exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. The passage of employees through the work area is average and normal.

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
