Clark College is currently accepting applications for a full-time Tenure-track Cybersecurity Professor. This position will serve the Cybersecurity Bachelor of Applied Science program and help support the growth of this degree. Teaching duties will include courses in computer networking, cybersecurity, scripting/programming, cloud/virtualization, and project management. Teaching assignment may include days, evenings, and online modalities. Department and College service work is expected with the position (as assigned by the department or College) to support the institutional mission and goals, foremost being student success and retention. Position ResponsibilitiesFACULTY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Instruct all classes as an expert in the discipline using active learning approaches that both engage and facilitate student learning.
- Advise and assist students in their educational and career development.

- Obtain and maintain Professional-Technical Certification requirements.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:
• Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent formalized technical training related to the cybersecurity field.
• Five years (5) of recent industry experience related to the cybersecurity field.
• Practical knowledge and work experience with cybersecurity.
• One (1) advanced information security certification (examples include: CISSP, or CISM).
• Ability to obtain and maintain professional technical certification requirements (certification is a condition of continued employment for all professional technical education personnel - financial assistance may be available).

SALARY STATEMENT:
Starting salary is $78,327 (non-negotiable) annually. Faculty may be eligible to advance every other year; current top step is $110,332. Salary is for a 173-day contract; additional compensation is available for summer and moonlight teaching, and doctoral and vocational stipends. Please note the salary may be adjusted for the 2025-2026 year pending the legislatively funded cost-of-living.
