What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Manager position at Clark Davis Associates?
My client is a family owned leader for over 25 years in the Mechanical Contractor and Construction industry. They are looking for an up and coming Accounting Manager to handle all Accounting Operations, Financial Reporting and month end close. This is a role that will work directly with Senior Leadership. Responsibilities:
-Month-end close
-Prepare Account Reconciliations & Analysis for all Balance Sheet accounts
-Prepare all GAAP-required journal entries to ensure all accruals are recorded
-Percentage of Completion accounting
-Ensure all supporting schedules reconcile to the General Ledger Balance
-Oversee Treasury and Cash Management including weekly Cash Forecasts
-Prepare Monthly Financial Forecasts, Budgets and Annual Business Plans
-Supervise Audits
-Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
-Manage AP&AR
-Maintain accurate job costing records
-Manage weekly cycle counts and inventory reconciliations
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s in Accounting
-3-5 Years experience in Accounting or Audit in a public firm
-Mechanical Service, Engineering or Construction experience highly preferred
-Proficiency with GAAP, Job Costing and inventory
-Microsoft Office and Excel
-Proficiency with QuickBooks highly preferred
Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
