We currently have an opportunity for a full-time Accounting Assistant to join our team in Champaign, IL reporting to the Controller. This position will support the Accounting Team with invoicing, project setup, and other accounting administrative tasks.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assists with monthly invoice preparation including pulling backup, compiling invoices, and mailing / e-mailing to clients.
- Assists with project setup in Deltek Vantagepoint, including initial setup and adding tasks and updating contracts as needed.
- Assists with entering deposits into the AR system.
- Manages the corporate Verizon account and serves as a point of contact for questions and equipment replacements.
- Serves as a backup for AP and AR tasks as needed.
- Reconciles employee insurance invoices with enrollment changes.
- Other administrative tasks to support the Accounting Team as needed.
