Job Summary
The Construction Manager position is a dual role responsible for assisting both the sales development of Food Service Construction projects as well as effectively project managing, supporting field personnel, building project schedules, executing bid proposal and assisting project execution for all construction opportunities as required.
Responsibilities
- Evaluates site conditions and develop construction scope of work
- Discusses sales strategies with internal salesperson to ensure overarching goals and approaches are met
- Identifies value engineering opportunities within construction scope to align with client needs and budget goals
- Prepares budgetary pricing through final pricing for construction bids per sales strategy alignments
- Facilitates conversations with client during the design phase of projects and effectively communicates back to Design Project Manager
- Responsible for project profits and ensuring execution expenditures do not exceed project expectations
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with subcontractor networks
- Understands, navigates, self-educates on latest construction building codes
- Performs buy-out of construction trades based primarily on project objectives and territorial location
- Leads all Precon activities to ensure internal team alignments are met
- Provides on-going support for Turnkey Site Superintendents through duration of projects
- Develops and ensures construction schedules are met or exceeded on each and every project
- Executes and leads client interface through the execution of each awarded project opportunity
