Position Overview:We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing Content Coordinator to develop and manage content that engages and excites our audience. This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, social media, and boating—or someone eager to learn about the boating industry. You will oversee content creation, website management, and marketing initiatives for events like boat shows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and create content aligned with our marketing goals, including social media posts, videos, and blog articles.
- Oversee and update website content and inventory listings to keep them current and engaging.
- Collaborate with the sales, service, and parts team to meet marketing objectives and enhance customer engagement.
- Write, edit, and publish blog posts that connect with our audience and drive traffic.
- Develop compelling social media content to encourage interaction, sharing, and brand awareness.
- Produce and manage video content that highlights our products, answers customer questions, and builds trust.
- Ensure all content maintains our brand voice, style, and quality standards.
- Optimize content for SEO to improve online visibility and drive traffic.
- Use analytics tools to measure content performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Share content across social media platforms and other channels to maximize reach.
- Stay updated on digital marketing trends and brainstorm new ways to engage our audience.
- Lead marketing efforts for boat shows, including creating promotional materials and coordinating with event teams to ensure a cohesive brand presence.
What We’re Looking For:
- Passion for boating or familiarity with the boating industry is a strong plus.
- Proficiency with tools like Google Drive and various social media platforms.
- Social media savvy and comfortable with video production and editing.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
- A degree in Business, English, Marketing, or a related field is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Compensation and Hours:
- Compensation: $22/hour.
- Regular hours: Tuesday – Friday, 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM, and Saturday, 7:45 AM – 1:00 PM.
- Flexibility to work additional hours for events.
