What are the responsibilities and job description for the National Account Sales Manager position at CLARK Material Handling Company?
The National Account Sales Manager is a key member of the CLARK sales organization and plays a critical role in achieving sales order volume through the CLARK national accounts channel. This position will target and aggressively pursue direct sales opportunities with new and existing CLARK national account clients. The National Account Manager works closely with team members to identify, cultivate and close new business. It is critical that this role collaborate with all CLARK depts to deliver the highest possible customer experience.
Essential Functions:
Develop, manage and maintain a pipeline of direct sales B2B business through CLARK national accounts sales channel.
Working remotely, maintain strong time management skills and high call volume necessary to reach sales goals.
Heavy outbound prospecting to identify and cultivate new opportunities.
Market industrial material handling equipment to clients across a spectrum of industries, such as warehouse, beverage, lumber, manufacturing, and ports.
Effectively communicate with and establish strong working relationships with C-SUITE clientele.
Track sales activity and manage opportunity database in CLARK CRM software. Manage and update information accuracy.
Working closely with inside sales and lead generation – penetrate new accounts and develop opportunity.
Effectively bring opportunities to close.
Manage existing national accounts and accumulate a repeat business pipeline.
Manage all aspects of sales process and organizational procedures and paperwork. All forms must be filled out correctly and on time.
Communicate and coordinate sales efforts with all CLARK depts necessary to establish new accounts, service existing accounts, deliver equipment and collect payment when necessary.
Coordinate with CLARK dealer network to establish equipment delivery rates and service support to national accounts.
Attend CLARK sales dept events and participate in activities to support all CLARK sales channels. (travel required)
Learn CLARK product and equipment specifications, details and competitive advantages. Competently communicate to clients.
Conduct on-site surveys and equipment demos.
Attend and participate in CLARK trade shows. Talk with potential clients, conduct demos and support all sales channels efforts and booth work.
Working directly with the Director of Sales and Marketing to develop new incentives, dealer communications, and other administrative tasks.
Assist with organizational tasks for national accounts and administration of demo program.
Participate with the Marketing Department on the creation of new promotional materials, branded items, and support material for national accounts dept use.
Work with administrative support team as needed to include but not limited to correspondences, presentations, mass mailings, reports and special projects
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferably 4 year bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience in high volume sales, preferably in the Material Handling Industry
Proven successful track record of national account/major account sales and market penetration.
Strong competency and experience marketing products within C-SUITE client base.
Demonstrated ability to comprehend and educate customers on complex industrial equipment specifications and capabilities.
Time management skill and ability to develop and implement a call plan.
Understanding of finance and equipment leasing terminology.
Candidate MUST be able and willing to travel often and conduct sales meetings and demos across N. America.
Proficient use of Salesforce and or CRM software systems.
Demonstrated ability to close deals.
Strong computer and business software skills. Such as; Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Word and Salesforce. Ability to type minimum 45wpm.
Exceptional customer service skills, with a proven record of providing excellent support for customers from a variety of backgrounds.
Strong organizational skills: Candidate is someone with a positive attitude, who is self-motivated and ability to juggle many tasks simultaneously, while supporting the overall goals of the company.
A self-starter. Ability to organize tasks and manage time to meet organizational goals, with minimal supervision
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship now or inthe future.
