Clark Personnel is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Operate mammographic radiographic equipment and other related devices as needed.
- Position patients and use immobilization techniques when necessary.
- Calculate exposure factors and assist physicians during procedures.
- Perform quality control functions for mammography, ensuring equipment accuracy.
- Evaluate radiographs for diagnostic quality and capture additional images if required.
- Set up and prepare medical supplies using aseptic techniques when appropriate.
- Explain procedures clearly to patients to ensure comfort and understanding.
- Charge for mammographic procedures and supplies accordingly.
- Provide orientation to new mammographers and offer education and training to students.
- Assist in maintaining and compiling statistical data for reporting.
- Stay proficient in MQSA training and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Perform phantom image quality evaluations regularly.
- Maintain good standing with A.A.R.T. credentials.
- High school diploma or GED.
- ARRT or AMA Certification.
- CPR Certification.
- Graduate of an approved X-ray technician training program with 1 to 2 years or more of x-ray technician work experience.
- Must be a Registered Mammography Technician.
