Responsibilities
We are seeking an ambitious and energetic IT Support Specialist to support our teams in the field. The Pest Control industry is not exactly what it may seem. Pest Control is more of a maintenance program to ensure that our customers don’t suffer from reoccurring pest activity. Like electricians or HVAC technicians, our ultimate goal is to ensure the safety and well-being of the customers that we serve.
What You'll Do:
- Answer, evaluate and prioritize incoming calls, voice mails, emails, and in-person requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related issues.
- Install, troubleshoot, train and support end-user hardware and peripherals.
- Install, troubleshoot, train and support application software.
- Maintain and troubleshoot telephony systems.
- Troubleshoot and support end-user network connectivity including application and Internet connectivity.
- Utilize IT Support Service Desk ticketing system to create, track and resolve all support issues.
- Work with other groups in IT to support end-user connectivity to server, network infrastructure and applications.
- Escalate support issues to appropriate individual or group(s) for resolution.
- Assist in monitoring server, network performance, security and IT Infrastructure.
- Create and maintain good technical documentation.
- On-site branch support.
- A/V installations, maintenance and support.
- Setup, install, manage, troubleshoot, train and support all Clark Pest Control’s mobile devices, mobile peripherals, PestPac Mobile and all mobile applications.
- Purchase and maintain inventory for cell phones and tablets. Track and order branch requests for mobile peripherals.
- Work closely with Rollins Desktop team to deploy Rollins/Clark image to workstations and laptops.
- Work closely with Rollins TSS Security Team to prevent and remediate vulnerabilities within the desktop environment. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
What You'll Need:
- Excellent customer service orientation and ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively with end-users of various technical skill levels.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with concurrent deadlines.
- Ability to function under fast-paced, stressful conditions.
- Must have analytical skills that will allow interpretation of customer/user needs into practical solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop OS and Microsoft Office.
- Advanced knowledge of typical end-user hardware.
- Knowledge of Android and iOS phones, tablets, and other portable devices.
- Familiar with Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and other Microsoft and non-Microsoft servers.
- Must keep up to date on technical advancements by attending workshops or online courses.
- Current MCP and A certifications are preferred.
- 2-3 years' experience working on a helpdesk or in a desktop support capacity supporting desktop applications, hardware, and peripherals is preferred.
