About the Role:
- Manage care for patients with chronic or acute illnesses
- Provide direct patient care as needed
- Coordinate staff scheduling, educational/development activities, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing, pharmacy, and other healthcare team members/departments to determine, coordinate, and provide medical nutrition therapy
- Maintain constant communication between all nursing areas and the registration area to facilitate a smooth throughput of patients
- Respond to all in-hospital emergencies to guide and assure appropriate outcomes
- Understand and practice within the scope of practice as an RN
Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Nursing, required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred
- KY RN state licensure or compact licensure, required
- Must have ability to work part-time shifts (two 12-hour shifts per week)
