What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Systems M365 Administrator position at Clarke County Hospital?
The primary purpose of the position is to provide efficient and effective systems which furnish healthcare providers support staff with the information technology to deliver top quality health care.
Key Accountability
· Project management experience implementing Microsoft 365 solutions.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Security using Active Directory, Azure Administration, and Microsoft 365
online groups.
· Basic scripting and development skills using PowerShell.
· Installing and integrating new server hardware and applications.
· Support and administer third-party applications.
· Sets up user account with appropriate permissions and password requirements.
· Resolves problems reported by end users.
· Coordinates systems installation with user(s).
· Assists with the development of information systems technicians as well as other information system
employees with knowledge of systems.
· Receives trouble calls on computer equipment and diagnoses problems.
· Demonstrated focus on customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively

· Understanding of the mission, goals, and objectives of the hospital. · Assists in documentation of the various components of the Hospital Information System. Documents requirements for addition, deletion, or changes to the Hospital Information System. · Assists with specifying, configuring and planning of the Hospital Information System equipment with outside help if needed. · Assists with administering Health Information System security procedures which protects all information, including compliance with laws and regulations, specifically HIPAA privacy and security standards. · Assists in maintaining a plan to insure orderly growth and to provide acceptable response time of the Health Information System in order to adequately meet or exceed the Hospital’s goals. · Assists in user departmental devices/system requests which relate to appropriate hardware and software configuration. · Works collaboratively with other individuals involved with the Hospital Information System. · Position required to be part of the 24*7*365 Team On-Call rotation. · Responsible for rapid response to aid all users. Works closely with other department teams to insure efficient and effective implementation of project solutions involving IT. · Reports on system performance, IT issues, and projects. · Assists with installation of system application software on supported platforms. · Assists with installation of infrastructure cabling (i.e. CAT5, CAT6). · Assists with hospital staff training of general computer skills, Microsoft products, and other learned applications. · Assists with development and review of Information Technology policies and appropriately monitors the adherence of those policies. · Performs other duties as directed by the IT Manager or other authority as indicated in approved Hospital policy.
Basic Clarke County Hospital (CCH) Performance Criteria
· Demonstrates Clarke County Hospital Standards of Behaviors as well as adheres to hospital

· Employee maintains current licenses and/or certifications required for the position.
· Practices and reflects knowledge of HIPAA, DIA, DNV, OSHA and other federal/state regulatory
agencies guiding healthcare.
· Completes all annual education and competency requirements within the calendar year.
· Is knowledgeable of hospital and department compliance requirements for federally funded
healthcare programs (e.g. Medicare and Medicaid) regarding fraud, waste and abuse. Brings any
questions or concerns regarding compliance to the immediate attention of hospital administrative
staff. Takes appropriate action on concerns reported by department staff related to compliance.

Education: | Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science or 10 years of related experience | Major in Micro-Computer Support Specialist is preferred. |
