Job Description
We are looking to hire an appliance repair apprentice who is eager to jumpstart their career in the appliance service industry. We offer a training program that strives to make people exceptional technicians. The right individual will have a great attitude, some HVAC or mechanical ability, and the drive to be part of a terrific team.
We will train you to:
- Diagnose and repair high end home appliances (Sub-Zero, Wolf, Cove, Scotsman, and Best brands)
- Effectively communicate with the customer
- Look up and order parts using our software program
- Remove and reinstall products
- Maintain truck stock inventory within company guidelines and standards
Qualifications and Skills
Experience:
- HVAC experience or knowledge is preferred but not required.
- Mechanical knowledge is preferred but not required.
Candidates must:
- Have a strong work ethic and be driven to deliver exceptional service experiences.
- Be a self-starter who is willing to become a better technician.
- Enjoy the customer service side of the job to earn the trust of our sophisticated clientele.
- Possess strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Want to work in an environment that recognizes and rewards potential.
- Be detail oriented and be able to follow processes and procedures.
- Take pride in their quality of workmanship.
- Have a valid Driver’s License with clean driving history.
- Have the ability to be CORI certified (background screening).
- Have the ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screenings.
- Have the ability to lift 60 lbs., push 100 lbs. and pull 50 lbs.

Our goal as a family company is to ensure there is a proper work/life balance for our technicians. We offer a Monday – Friday daytime schedule with no nights, weekends or on-call. Our dispatch team will schedule your day and, although out of control things happen during your shift, our goal is to get you home for dinner. Saturdays are an optional, not mandatory, overtime day.
