Since 1946, Clarke has served the public health mosquito control market providing products, services and solutions to help communities around the world control mosquitoes and mosquito borne disease. This mid-sized, third generation, family-owned business is seeking a strategic and detail oriented Corporate Controller to join its leadership team.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this position will lead the company's accounting operations and internal controls to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will provide leadership to the accounting team and partner with the financial planning team and business and department leaders to deliver timely, insightful financial information that supports strategic decision-making, drives operational performance, and ensures the integrity of financial data across the organization.
This position offers a base salary of $150,000 - $180,000. This salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, and certifications or other professional licenses held.

This position will be based out of our location in St. Charles, IL. A hybrid work environment with a minimum of 3 days in the office is standard. Candidates should be located in reasonable proximity to St. Charles, IL. Relocation assistance will not be provided.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required.
- 10 years of progressive accounting and financial leadership experience, preferably in a family-owned or mid-sized business.
- Experience managing multi-entity and international accounting operations.
- Strong knowledge of corporate and shareholder tax matters, including estate and succession planning considerations.
- Expertise in financial systems, ERP platforms, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and ability to navigate family business dynamics with professionalism.
- Strong presentation skills, including experience having independently presented to the Senior Management level
- Ability to effectively partner with management and cross-functional teams to meet performance objectives and to support the mission and vision of the Company.
