Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Per Diem Transportation Specialist to join our team at Clarkson University. As a Transportation Specialist, you will be responsible for transporting students, coaches, and staff across various routes using our 25-passenger buses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive University leased 25-passenger buses safely and efficiently, adhering to all state and federal transit regulations.
- Transport students, coaches, and staff from one location to another, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist students and coaches with sports gear and/or luggage as needed.
- Report any accidents or traffic disruptions to the administration promptly.
- Review route assignments and schedules with coaches and administration to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
Requirements:
- High school education or equivalent.
- CDL passenger license.
- Clean driving record.
- Able to pass a criminal and DMV check upon hire.
- Flexible schedule.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- 2 years of experience in a related field.
