Company Overview
Reporting to the General Counsel of Claro Enterprise Solutions, the key functions of the Junior Attorney include but are not limited to working with internal and external clients and agencies regarding technology and telecommunications agreements and related documents, labor law matters, maintenance of corporate books and records custodian.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Work with internal and external clients to prepare, review and negotiate agreements and other documents.
- Maintenance of corporate books for the company and certain US affiliates.
- Advise internal departments on various matters and disputes as they arise
- Legal research as needed
- Undertake any other duties and responsibilities which may from time to time be assigned or required, e.g., assistance with corporate audits.
- Provide legal and regulatory opinions as may be requested by employees of affiliated companies, typically in relation to service offerings that have a U.S.-component
- This position entails some administrative duties from time-to-time as related to the legal dept. such as making copies, filing, records retention, records custodianship, and mailing/shipping documents.

Qualifications
Education
JD - ABA-accredited law school (State Bar required)
Work Experience
1-3 years In-house counsel or transactional attorney, Required
Skills Required
- General in-house or transactional legal experience, including technology law, employment law, corporate books and governance, commercial transactions and dispute resolution.
- High-level of organizational skills and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to ensure the results are achieved and/or exceeded.
- Accomplishing tasks in an expeditious manner without sacrificing accuracy.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management.
- Must be able to develop relationships with various departments to ensure information is collected in a timely and reliable manner.
- High-degree of business acumen and good judgment. High emphasis on technology sector and technical knowledge.
- Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel)
Language Skills
Bilingual English and Spanish Required

- Bar Admission, Required
- ATT-JD - Attorney, Required
