What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensing Foster Care Specialist position at Clarvida - Arizona?
About your Role:
As a Foster Care Specialist, you will provide supports to assist in the placement of foster care youth, stabilize foster care placements, and assist foster families through the child welfare system while caring for children in their homes. You will conduct in-person home visits, provide crisis management, and write adoption conversion home studies, as needed. This position maintains family licensing records and submits license applications and amendments, in addition to assisting families with training requirements.

Does the following apply to you?
- 21 years of age or older
One of the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Service field i.e. Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling etc. AND a minimum of two (2) years of experience working in with families and/or a child welfare, human services field; OR
- Active and valid unrestricted Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card, DCS Clearance with no substantiated reports as well satisfactory results of background checks as required
- Current Arizona State Driver’s License in good standing with a good driving record for the past three (3) years; along with active personal vehicle registration and liability insurance
