What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Facilitator - Contractual position at Class A Training Center?
As a Program Facilitator, you will be responsible for leading classroom sessions aimed at individuals referred by the court system. The primary focus of these sessions is to provide education, support, and tools to promote positive behavioral change. Additional Duties include facilitating class discussions, prompting participant's to share by asking questions, and offering guidance to help ensure participants understand the material presented.
- This is a contractual position - 1099
- Programs vary in duration, most classes are evenings or weekends, ranging from 2-8 hours per class.
- Programs are Remote and some in person (Macomb County, Michigan).

Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and informative classroom sessions with program guidelines and objectives.
- Implement approved curriculum tailored to court-ordered referrals, covering topics such as anger management, impulse control, stress management, life skills, retail fraud etc.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of attendance, progress, and any notable incidents, ensuring compliance with program requirements.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Must have an active limited or full license by the State of Michigan.
- Proven experience as a group facilitator, preferably in a court-ordered referral setting.
- Knowledge of behavioral change principals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage group dynamics and create a supportive environment.
